Nevada unclaimed money total is over $830 million in unclaimed cash and property. The state had a banner year in its last fiscal year as far as unclaimed money returned to its rightful owners. In fiscal year 2018 the state returned just under $44 million to over 28,000 individuals. The claims ranged from $929,000 to one cent according to a report. The average claim was nearly $1500, but almost half of it went to the top 200 individuals.
